The Picture

The first time I saw you
Was in a picture
Your smile so captivating
Drawing my eyes to stare
\With piercing eyes
And the glow of my desire
My heart was taken in
\By looking through a picture
I see that I could love you
In my mind you were real
Could you feel the passion
Stemming from me?
The feeling was vivacious
\But there was so much I did not know
My emotions were a mixture
The stories a picture tells
I can make you out to be what I feel
\But in the picture I'm not with you
You are a reflection of my desire
The picture that started a fire.
